•Avoid Touching or Massaging the Treated Area: Don’t rub or apply pressure to the area for at least 24 hours to prevent the Botox from spreading to unintended areas.

•Stay Upright: Avoid lying down or bending over for at least 4 hours post-treatment, as this can prevent Botox from migrating.

•Skip Exercise and Strenuous Activity: Avoid any intense physical activity, including exercise, for 24 hours, as it can increase blood flow and may spread the toxin.

•Avoid Alcohol Consumption: Refrain from drinking alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment, as it can increase bruising.

•Limit Sun Exposure and Heat: Stay out of direct sunlight and avoid heat sources (saunas, hot tubs, tanning beds) for 24-48 hours to minimize swelling and redness.

•No Makeup Application on the Treated Area: Wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup to the area to avoid irritation or infection.

•Avoid Blood-Thinning Medications if Possible: If safe and medically approved, avoid blood-thinning medications (like aspirin or ibuprofen) for 24 hours post-treatment to reduce bruising.

•Wait on Additional Facial Treatments: Avoid facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, or other facial treatments for at least 1-2 weeks to let the Botox settle.

•Avoid Sleeping on Treated Area: Try to sleep on your back for the first night after treatment to prevent any pressure on the treated area.

•Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to help your skin heal and stay hydrated.

•Watch for Side Effects: Mild side effects like slight redness, swelling, or bruising are normal and should subside within a few days. However, if you experience severe or unusual symptoms (e.g., difficulty breathing, muscle weakness, or drooping eyelids), contact your provider immediately.

These guidelines should help promote effective healing and enhance the longevity of the results from Botox treatment.

•Monitor Capillary Refill: Check the capillary refill time in the treated area by gently pressing and releasing to observe if the color returns within 1-2 seconds. If it takes significantly longer or if you notice skin discoloration (such as blanching or darkening), contact your clinic immediately, as it may indicate vascular issues.

•Avoid Additional Facial Treatments: Postpone facials, massages, chemical peels, and other skin treatments for at least 2 weeks after filler treatment to avoid irritation.

•Limit Extreme Facial Movements: Try to minimize excessive facial expressions (e.g., puckering, frowning) for the first 24-48 hours, especially if fillers were applied near the mouth or eyes.

Following these steps will help promote healing, ensure the best results, and support safe outcomes from the treatment.

•Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to aid in healing and to support skin health.

•Avoid Additional Facial Treatments: Postpone facials, massages, chemical peels, and other skin treatments for at least 3-4 weeks to avoid disrupting the threads.
